I used to Tivo every episode of SNL when I was a freshman in highschool to watch on Sunday mornings. I remember this episode because I was so excited for Katy Perry to host. I had never heard of Robyn and these two performances completely changed my life. I even traveled to London alone to see her in 2019. I'm just rewatching this now for the first time 12 years later

The fact that she was pitch perfect while basically her whole body was above her head is vocal acrobatics right there! Robyn is one of our underrated pop icons! Sweden gave us a lot of musical gifts, but Robyn is one we really need to give flowers to.

@@starsandstripesofcorruptio5524 Was that really necessary. You strip away the talent and skill for the flux of appearance? It is probably a credit to her that she is not bothered to use dental cosmetics to hide the flaws of her dentition. We all have flaws. Organic systems are by definition full flaws. We shouldn't focus and mock people for simple cosmetic flaws like dentition. Focus on the skill and talent that is easily presented.

This is truly the essence of what pop should be - not hidden agendas, no-hyper sexualization… just an entertainer out there slaying and loving what she gets to do.
