This girl did her things so many years before and then, so many artists came out with her performing style , Lorde Green Light, Dua Lipa Electricity, Halsey
@Writerdane4 жыл бұрын
Alex Aular all the artists you mentioned and quite a few more got influenced by Robyn. Without Robyn, none of them would be around.
@rf55104 жыл бұрын
@@Writerdane thats awfully presumptuous to say they wouldnt be around if not for Robyn. Robyn is fantastic but Gaga is much more Madonna than Robyn. Dua Lipa has CONSISTENTLY named Pink and Nelly Furtado as her inspirations. Lorde has talked about T Swift much more than Robyn. Let artists success and talent be their own instead of saying their success is ONLY because of another artist.
@Writerdane4 жыл бұрын
@R F if you have read my reply properly, then you see ‘all the artists you mentioned’ which were Lorde, Dua Lipa and Halsey, and a few others’ like Carly Rae Jepsen,circa Emotion, and Tegan and Sara’s most recent works. Though i should probably say instead of ‘none of them would be here’ to ‘who knows what their sound would be like’. Lorde’s Melodrama album was directly influenced by Robyn, with her literally saying after listening to her music, she felt excited. Dua Lipa’s first album had the same themes as Robyn’s Body Talk album. Halsey’s work ethic is very similar to how Robyn produces her music as Robyn was one of very few independent female artists not under a major record company in the early 2000s. The new Scandinavian Popstars grew up on her and want their sound to be like hers. Robyn came before Britney as a protege of Max Martin. She came out of that collaboration as someone who wanted to be an independent artist and not a product of the industry. Dont underestimate just how influential her work is as she was ahead of the curve from mid-2000s-2010s. Without Robyn to start it with her middle albums and with her masterpiece album Body Talk, the music landscape would be very, very different now.

Look at her, look at her facial expressions, she's really feeling the song, she's portraying every word of the lyrics and at the same time, she gives the coolest dance moves.
