If there is a scandal that makes my blood boil more than horizon scandal this is it! Prosecutions need to be made and not just for the vile perpetrators but the vile people who for whatever reason cover this up .... The only reason it hasn't got the traction yet is that us the public bury our heads because it is absolutely horrific and we don't want to see it! But we need to start speaking up about this tough subject and call it out for what it is no matter what that means... It is clear that there is a cultural element to this and that needs to be brought right to the fore... Maggie is a hero for speaking the truth and not trying to sugar coat it.... People need to take the scales of their eyes and start speaking plainly about what they see going on around them.... I think that Maggie is also spot on about needing a separate body from the police with far reaching powers of investigation to properly investigate the police when needed.... One of the few good things to come from the troubles in northern Ireland is the police ombudsman although I'm sure not perfect at least it's a start

Its everywhere. I remember being a teenager in 2010's in Brighton being drunk walking with my friends. A group of Pakistani men in a car asked us if we wanted to drink alcohol in thier car. I said no and they were like we weren't asking you, your ugly. My mates then said no as well. So, they started driving down the street very slowly next to us. It was so scary and i was glad i wasn't on my own. I also know people who got in the car and then were sexually assaulted her case got dismissed in court. I think we unfortunately still live in a world where women are blamed for her own rape like we were asking for it. Like i was walking down a street and a white guy tried to rape me. I had heard so many horror stories if the police and the conviction rates, being revictimised in courst l, he said she said. I just couldn't do it. Also i was fortunately not raped, so i doubt anythingbwould of happened. I am a women, women talk the amount of times i have been in a girls bathroom and we talk about sexual assault etc its crazy. Like there was a cut and dry case of my friend getting beaten by a guy outside of a club, the police re victimised her stating what did she do to deserve this etc. even though there was cctv etc they dropped the case. I am so angry, i avoid going out unless i have someone with me because this world is awful. I just can comprehend why we are still not learning any lessons. Like we have learnt nothing from rochdale. This issue is still an issue. The police are a joke are this point. Conviction rates are sooooo low, the lowest its ever been. I feel like nothing is going to change.
