She may be acting against it now, but at the start, she was part of the same institutions that tried to shut the conversation down. Standing on the backs of far braver people who were demonised for speaking up doesn't make her a heroine. What she is is an opportunist because she speaks as though no one was talking about this before her. Not once have I heard her credit T.R. or apologise to him for her statements about him and the EDL when they first started raising the issue. I'm glad she is taking action, but her earlier inaction lead to more girls being harmed.
