Grooming Gangs | "Policing Needs To Grow A Spine" Says Peter Bleksley | Peter Cardwell

A recent report has revealed that girls were subjected to the predation of grooming gangs for years due to failures by senior police and council leaders. The review, spanning from 2004 to 2013, exposes a series of flawed investigations by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
The report underscores the apparent indifference of local authorities toward hundreds of identified potential victims, particularly when they were targeted by Asian men. GMP has issued an apology and emphasised that such cases are handled differently today.
The review also identifies 96 men still considered a potential risk to children, acknowledging that this represents only a portion of those involved in the abuse. Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham is calling for disciplinary action against officers, council officials, and some prosecutors in the North West who "failed in their duties." He commended whistleblowers, including health worker Sara Rowbotham and former GMP detective Maggie Oliver, who bravely raised concerns despite facing criticism from authorities.

At this point unless you bend the knee to far left ideology you are branded as 'far right' and 'dangerous' and they will treat you as such even during non-violent protest. We see this already through policing double standards. It's only going to get worse the longer that people sit and lament over the problem rather than band together to protest it. I'm guilty of it right now - all this moaning in a comments section (although better than nothing) does very little to change anything. This is also why freedom of speech is so important. Once it is truly gone who will be the first to stick their neck out to get it back? They make an example of the few who stand up to cower the rest into submission - this isn't a new concept. Most of us could not afford satellite TV back then. The town became a war zone, no locals went there anymoe. What I cannot understand is why no one has taken the government to court over their failure in their duty to protect their citizens. That bloody Gloria woman got funding to take the government to court over Brexit and this unleashed danger on the public and its challenging of it would be a better legal challenge. The poor families of the two young students who were murdered only for the perpetrator to get a reduced sentence of deminished responsibility.
