That’s the same thing that happened in Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪. Once they hear my accent they wanted to double and triple the prices🤣 My most of my dad’s side of the family lives there and some of my mom’s side, but my favorite cousins always told me “if I’m with you don’t speak, he will do all the talking.”🤣 Helped me a lot, because my Swahili is at a beginner level 🤦🏾‍♀️
