Different people has own preference and likes. Let them come and see the hidden beauty of the Philippines, the people, the culture, the food and nature. I, myself is a stranger of my country. I haven't visited of some these places because some aren't accessible directly by flights or boats. You have to consider the travel time is long because each island are not interconnected and some are accesible only by boat, bikes, truck and airplanes or a combination of each. This was taken during the pandemic exactly the beauty of the places, there is no editing to enhance the color. No offense, to those people who are doubtful if we have that in our country, please visit them while you are still young and able. Many are eager to visit our country from different countries. So let be a challenge to us Filipinos. As we already know, travel now a days is quite expensive and only if we have extras and not immediate priorities. We need money to spend for our transportation, food and accommodation. Travel when we have extras. There are so many beautiful places around the world but our logistical resources are limited. So start near to you in our islands where we lived. Philippines has 7,100 islands to roam around. Enjoy and thank you for your reaction.

The sandbar island you mentioned is Cresta De Gallo, isolated island in my province of Romblon. Its about 3 boat ride from the main island Tablas. Its about almost 1 1/2 hr. by plane from Manila. Very beautiful island, wish you can visit and appreciate its beauty. Its more fun in the Philippines. Mabuhay!

Yes, the best mangoes are found in the Philippines. Various tropical fruits are found throughout the Philippines islands like mangoesteen, durian, lanzones and so many others. The Philippines is an archipelago comprising of 3 MAIN big islands--Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Actually, the Philippines has a total of 7,641 islands (some are uninhabited). It will probably take you more than 100 days to explore all of them because it takes 2-3days to reach those remote islands (by land, air and by water). Some foreign vloggers who opted to live in the country for 3-5 years, still continue to go around the whole archipelago but haven't covered all these islands. The Bicol Region in Southern Luzon is the only place where they prepare spicy food, other than that, most of the various dishes are a fusion of Malay, Chinese, Spanish, even Mexican influence. For example, the national dish of chicken/pork ADOBO is compared to a Mexican Mole. If you are going to try Filipino food, there are a lot to choose from, I hope that there's a Filipino restaurant near you?, I will suggest you try the following: Chicken or Pork ADOBO, Lumpia ( eggrolls ), SINIGANG ( sour soup with veggies ) BEEF KALDERETA ( beef stew ), ESCABECHE ( sweet & sour fish ) BICOL EXPRESS ( spicy pork/shrimp sauteed in coconut milk ) SIZZLING SISIG ( grilled bits of pork & spices ) LECHE FLAN ( custard pie for dessert ) These are dishes you have to eat with RICE on a plate using a spoon & fork. Filipinos seldom use a knife on a dinning table, since the food is so tender, the spoon is used to cut the portions on your plate, the fork is used to shovel the dish to the spoon then scooped to your mouth. I hope you can try these dishes to start, I'm sure there will be more suggestions your way. BTW, you should also try Filipino Snacks from an Asian Store or online. You will be pleasantly surprised. Regarding spicy foods, Philippines isn't known for spicy foods. Locally, in some provinces there are dishes which are spicy. But when compared with other Asian countries, Filipino food could be easily described as not spicy. We tend to love more of the sweet and sour (yes, SWEET and SOUR) taste.

Bicol has the spicy foods and Zamboanga speaks Chvacano a very old español. Philippines was colonize by Spain for 333 yrs same as Mexico. Try to find Filipino speaking Chavacano and reacts to it. It yes and no! Tons of menus to offer…where I came from Batangas..it’s more into sweet, sour ,salty, savoury too.. Visayas, I think spices too like with chilies and also Mindanao also and coconut cream with hot spices But, we the center of so called Culinary capital the province of Zamboanga… Remember! My home country is paradise and we been colonized long ago..so we have all nation flavours..and beaches, mountain and lushes grains where ever you go..So go and see…and enjoy! 🌞🫶🏼
