A pretty simple song for drummers, followed by a busier version!

If you are able to do Deep Purple, burn would be great to see and hear. It is one of my absolute favorite Ian Peaice, drum track 👍😎✌️

@@flipnationdrums2357 Funny you should mention that--I sat down and tried to play it the other day, and although I used to be able to (I even charted the song years ago) I'm so out of shape I couldn't do it! I guess I need to start practicing again...:)

I like the drum cover without any of the cover music much easier to learn the song with also wanted to let you know that when you played it in your own version you sounded way better than the first original drum track you played because it was your own version of the track that you got into the groove pocket and feel of the track.

Thanks--I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm thinking about doing a cover of Deep Purple's "Burn" but I don't know if the ol' muscles are up to it...:)

You don't see North drums every day.

I don't think you'd run into any copyright issues if you did have music. There are thousands of drum covers on KZbin these days.

True, but technically if the channel is monetized (as mine is) you need special permission.
@joethelowbudgetdrummer77433 жыл бұрын
@@christhedrummerkimball I didn't know you needed special permission. I assumed it was under a fair use law somewhere.

@@joethelowbudgetdrummer7743 No, there is even a list of songs you're not allowed to cover in various countries around the world without written permission from the publisher. It's pretty Orwellian, but it's supposed to help artists make money from their compositions.
