@djvlad Your semi clickbait title really devalues this great interview and is making all these headline readers get in their feelings for no reason! Rock never says Meek is the last street rapper! Rock talks about a bunch of different things and spends about half a minute (out of a 16 minute interview) to name Meek as an example for being the last street rapper that was allowed to go fully mainstream. Salute to Rock

DRUGS+DRESSES! The truth has been spoken. The line about Meek Mill was somewhat accurate because even some of the newer street rappers are either on some Drug addict stuff or come off feminine or soft in some type of way. The newer rappers lack a father. So they carry the emotions of their mother and it shows in their weak music. Not all but most. I stand on this as being truth.

You got guys like Dave East, Don Q, Nipsey Hussle, YG and a few others. But he had to say Meek because Meek is the Only Street rapper from the new generation who’s on a BIGGER Level. Virtually a household name. (A Lot to do with him dating Nicki Minaj and his beef with Drake. 2 big name superstars.) On THIS Level?? He is the Only Street Rapper. Not sure if he will be the “last”? But he’s definitely the Main one holding it down for the Street niggas.

Thanks a lot Rock for thiis interview, I know I'm 5 years late but hey, better late than never. Watched all parts from start to finish, it's really interesting, and that's probably only the part of the iceberg, some things don't need to be told or are made to be said if you know what I mean. Anyway, I hope you're doing fine, take care of you, I hope we see you in Europe soon.

Two biggest artist in the industry are nicki and drake both of them have issues with meek and they fan bases are mostly females or niggas who think like females 😂😂, and its hard to be a street rapper already so meek up against alot he still consistently droppin fire

E Money Lol and who is the one who since 2011 has been irresponsible as fuck and constantly getting arrested with the law? Who doesnt act like a mature 30 year old with a son? You guys can call Nicki and Drake corny all yall want, it wont matter in the end Meek is the one who like every other street rapper will end up broke in a couple years Its music/entertainment, at what point are yall gonna grow up out of bragging about how street someone is? Did Meek even secure his masters or make sure his family is good for generations like J Cole did?
@_E1k7 жыл бұрын
Jordan Johnson first off he got arrested before his career took off and since the system is fuked up he has been on probation for like 8 years ,and as a man i never count another mans pocket , but he has said none of his family lives in philly in many interviews. And im not braggin about the streets , the goal is to make it out. Im sayin nowadays the way meek rap is not appreciated just like rock said
@JJ-fu7so7 жыл бұрын
E Money Ok and why does he get praised for ignorant shit but yall go at the women? Let me guess cause the rappers rap about "real shit" to yall Lol ok he has been on probation 8 years, he has still done stupid shit constantly since then Being a scorned chick and having the Dickchasers rob Nicki's house back in January. And dont tell me that wasnt them because her clothes were cut up meaning it was a personal crime 2 years ago pulling up on Quentin Miller for no reason who had nothing to do with anything and beating him up The issue with the fan and the assault Hands down next to DMX one of the dumbest rappers in rap history yet yall keep bragging about how he is the last street rapper left Good and hopefully none come after
@_E1k7 жыл бұрын
Jordan Johnson yea u sound dumb as hell, u really let the internet make up your mind, its crazy how u dont like meek but u know so much about him and u clicked on this video. Its really sad , and u cant relate to street rappers so when there are conversations about them or interviews about them just dont talk because u dont know how it is to be raised with nothing watching yoir parents struggle and have to help them by any means, u havent experienced it so u cant relate and have nl buisness talkin about it
