Watching these shows make me realize how great we had it. Just a bunch of teenagers going to Friday nite dances and stopping for a coke at the hangout at the time. No fights, no drugs, just being young which I think young has passed up teenagers today. Too much on their plate. Nobody shaming you on Facebook. No one staring down on their phones. Just out for fun. Football games were the best with the smell of burning leaves in the air and a bit chilly. Dances after the game, hoping the person you liked would be there. That great feeling of dancing with the one you were in love with at the time. Summers were great too. Going to the pool in the day and dances in the evening. The air after a storm…..I might be old now but I have great memories to cherish.
