Yes, you can add this chainring. You can verify what would be the biggest applicable chainring from the maker. I do not believe the rear derailleur has a chainring tooth max. Hope this helps.

I got same bike and weight 200 pounds. What would be recommended set-up to make it plushier? All my friends have full suspension bikes and I'd like to be able to go faster on descents to keep up with them :). Location I ride has lots of roots and more gear towards trail bikes and not cross country. Great video by the way ;)
