Great video, Mike! I love this hotel. My family are pool people and this pool is next level. You made a really great point about Club Level too. My family of 5 stayed there 2 years ago at CL and paid about $580/night. That sounds pricey but with all of the water and food that was included, it was a major bargain. CL, as you said, it usually only around $100-$150 more a night and if you are especially someone that enjoys a few cocktails, that alone can give you a nice ROI with their "Happy Hour."

This has been my favorite stay in Orlando for a decade now. Inflation has eaten away at the value but you can't get this experience at Disney. Pool is amazing and room service is ++++.

One drawback is that you have to rent a microwave if you want one in your room. We always have leftovers to heat up or snacks to warm. Wish it was standard with your room.

Thanks Mike. Helpful as always! We will be visiting in December for our first on site stay and chose the Hard Rock. It’s been a long time since visiting the parks (Diagon Alley wasn’t built yet 😊). At the time of booking it was recommended we stay here over Portofino Bay due to the renovations. Looking forward to that resort video for future planning.

We stayed at cabana bay resort it was nice but it was on spring break and the sports teams were insane so we will definitely pay a little more and stay at hard rock next time

Hi the benefits of the lounge level are for 2 days if I took only 1 night? I mean, lets say you arrive early in the morning, can you access to the lounge before going to yhe park even if you didnt get yet the room?

You can access the lounge at noon on the day you check in and until 11 am the day you check out

I have noticed that no one talks about the parking, each time you use the car park it cost you $25, so if you use it three times in one day it cost you $75, that is a bloody rip off.

It seems like influencers NEED to compare universal to disney in order to show its good points, whereas disney can stand alone as though universal doesn't exist. Do you know how many times you compared to disney, even in just this one video?

Hey Jennifer, I appreciate your feedback and checking out our video! These are just my opinions but I believe Disney should be looking at what Universal Orlando is doing. I’m a huge disney fan and at their parks every weekend but it’s extremely expensive to take a family of four on a Disney vacation. Their deluxe hotels are significantly more money than Universal unless you grab a 30% off deal and I don’t see them being significantly better. We’re also not influencers but travel agents and I believe the every day family does compare the two when trying to figure out where they can get the biggest bang for their buck. I also believe we should be comparing them to the off-site hotels as well but I haven’t stayed at too many but I have stayed at most of the Disney hotels recently and these are just my thoughts. Not saying there is no need for a disney world vacation. I just believe universal provides more value at this point in time and most likely won’t change with EPIC Universe coming. 👍🏻
