THE STORY OF JOHN D ROCKEFELLER - The business magnate and richest man in the world (and the world’s first billionaire). There was a time when anyone would tremble upon hearing the name John D. Rockefeller. Not only was he the world’s first billionaire, he’s one of the richest people in history. His empire - Standard Oil - became the most dominant monopoly in the world by brutally crushing competitors, taking control of multiple industries, bribing the government into submission, and treating business as if it was war. Because of his ruthless business practices and secretive deals, Rockefeller made many enemies. His career is filled with bitter rivalries like with Andrew Carnegie, and even ferocious battles against US Presidents. But, before he was the titan of the oil industry, Rockefeller was at the very bottom of society. His story is one of only a handful of cases where someone manages to rise from the depths of poverty, to the absolute peak of wealth and power. Rockefeller’s story is at times inspiring, and at times… chilling. It’s an example of what happens when greed and ambition go completely unchecked. This Rockefeller documentary shows the insane true story of John D Rockefeller, the history of Standard Oil and one of the craziest rags to riches stories. At times it’s an inspiring business story with lessons for entrepreneurs, at other times it’s a dark business story showing the worst of corporate greed. And after crushing his competition, through a series of strategic investments Rockefeller became the richest person in the world (even surpassing Andrew Carnegie). Adjusting for inflation, he is one of the richest self made men in history. And when his business empire got split up and he got given shares in other companies, he became even richer as their stock price soared on the stock market. But before all that wealth, let me take you back to 1839, where a young John D. Rockefeller is born into poverty…

When ever John D Rockefellr donated money it was to get something in return. He's said "I want a nation of workers not thinkers" shortly after he donated $180M to build a school system that makes workers, That's why schools don't teach about taxes or any financial. He has ownership to the Federal reserve & the IRS works for John's descendants & partners.

John bought tram companies which ran on electricity, disbanded them and replaced them with bus companies which ran on oil. He also created the University, which created the modern western medical system based on pharmaceuticals which is a petro-chemical product based system that some believe have health benefits. This meant that the rockerfeller universities programmed doctors to only use pharmaceuticals. Drs could only become licenced to practice pharmaceutical medicine if they went to a university. Not philanthropy but monopoly.

I did a major project in school in high school on these types of robber barons. Mine was directly about John D Rockefeller. I heard his name in a few books previously and saw he was considered one of the richest humans in history. This fascinated me when I did the project on his and thought at first that he was probably a great man to achieve that level of success. It was through this project and the subsequent research done on him, his company and his life that I realized that I once idolized one of the most despicable people to ever exist. It's astounding to read into what sort of atrocities and downright evil things that he did in the pursuit of monetary gain. At the end of the project, I considered John D. Rockefeller as a grade A piece of shit. That awful huma's success and overwhelming greed has influenced more of the same type of garbage behavior that a surprising amount of people have done as well and the overarching greed infested society that we have developed.

It could be good, though Biopics are far more often shit than worth watching, let alone actually great. Usually the great ones are either about lesser known figures, and/or aren't just a highlight reel of someone's entire life, but focus on a specific event, timr oerjod (Oppenheimer was incredible in part because of its use of both of these, reallt only focusing on select timeframes within a 30 year period, and of course he's not well known to the public, even to the people that do know who he is, really didnt know much (like me, who knew about him and the Manhattan project only, nothing beyond that

I'm a dedicated viewer from India, and I've greatly benefited from your insightful videos. Recently, I observed that KZbin introduced a feature allowing users to switch audio tracks to different languages. This has proven to be extremely beneficial for content accessibility, as demonstrated by major KZbinrs like MrBeast. Considering the diverse global audience, I believe incorporating multilingual audio tracks in your videos could significantly enhance the learning experience for viewers who encounter language challenges. This feature has the potential to make your valuable content accessible to a wider international audience. Thank you for considering this suggestion. Looking forward to more enriching content from you.
