Too bad you didn't mention that when Masa Son was younger, and had just started Soft Bank, he helped a sushi restaurant. Near his parents' house was a small struggling sushi restaurant. Masa Son went there one day, and thoroughly enjoyed the sushi. The restaurant was struggling. He paid the owners and the staff to relocate near the Soft Bank main office because he felt they'd thrive there. He was correct. I believe it's still around as an upscale sushi place. It seems to me that Masa Son has always put his money where his mouth is.

crazy thing is, in his Japanese interviews he does talk quite humbly, but he also talks like he's telling a story rather than explaining his business decisions.
