Awesome video mate , from your rocker box videos I built myself one a few years ago and have used it in the Macquarie river and did get some small gold but also got a little ruby as well , I really enjoy using the rocker box , it’s about the same size as yours , I got Marine carpet in the bottom a aluminium riffle bar and pieces of bread crate section cut to fit in between the riffle bar sections so it gets gem stones as well , it’s a little beauty and fun to use , thinking about making a bigger one now , 👍

The olde fellas were right. Not enough there to work. I noticed you never filmed Colleen staggering out of the bush listing to one side with a large nugget in her pocket. I used to love going out and doing that. I had an EX100 Honda that I strapped my gear onto and headed bush. Worked a small creek and got over 6 ozs from it.

Best tip in this country carry 200 liters rain water snake kit satellite ph and 300liters od Carlton dry or 5 bottles of OP rum. That's a AUSSIE SAFETY KIT.

Yes Alan, in Queensland you need a Fossicking Permit, which you can get on line. You can get a family or individual Permit. Happy Fossicking! Warren

Where I am be lucky to find enough water to hold a tadpole have to dry pan or take ya own water to use for that which is a pain
