i absolutely love this video!! you got into so many things that most other reactors don’t and i love this fresh, unique look that was super appreciative and coming from a passion for music! i would absolutely love to see you break down anything more from Frank Ocean, just because so much of his stuff is *this* musically interesting and layered. White Ferrari is my favorite song from him, and i think you would love it as well :). such a deep, deep, from the heart piece of music. just like the rest of his discography is. i think you’d also get a lot out of Pyramids, which is such a huge, cinematic experience too. Ivy is another amazing guitar song of his. youve for sure earned a sub! ^^

Oh, it’s definitely some form of pitch-correction. Might be Melodyne. In the line “everybody needs you,” listen to the Es in the word “needs.” He shifts from one note to another, and there’s no glide or slide, it’s just a harsh jump. Humans can’t make that sound with our vocal cords. They can maybe imitate it, but imitating a computer while singing is so much extra work. Important note: using autotune or pitch-correction software like Melodyne does not mean an artist is bad. In this genre, it’s actually the norm. Not everyone can hear it right away, but if you train yourself, you’ll eventually find it as obvious as any other part of the song. 😊
