Very well done, Lady! Compliments!! I ride a rare TFC Rocket and I am fully satisied over the last 10'000 Miles. The bike is impressive and (what I call)has an imperial appearance. As I often drive in the Alps, I had to learn to drive sharp bend winding curves totally different than with a normal bike, this due to the wheelbase. But the Rocket simply: is it!

I have my own lawncare so I'll ride in nice areas to look for lawns. It's quit everyone waves . Young boys see it and stare . I'm not 70 . I'm still young with this bike. No windshield nieghter. No plastic to look threw. My shoei helmets helps big time.

I have my GT from april 2020 and +/- 10.000km om the clock, I'm very very happy with this bike, nice, powerfull, confortable (also in duo), safe and easy to drive in any circumstances: motorways, small roads, moutain's roads... I recently put a quick shift, a must in sport mode and for mountain's roads. Same probleme with waterproofness of the bags, I got new one with watertigh bag inside...even efficient as a trash bag... Only real defect for me: the fuel tank is not big enough for long distances (250-270km max), from 240 km I pray to find a gas sation...

Thanks for the great review. It is refreshing to watch and listen to an open and honest appraisal of a bike that the person has actually paid for, and not just a journalist's quick test ride. The videography is excellent too. One question if I may? If you wanted to use panniers I'm guessing you considered the 'GT' model before choosing the 'R'? Can you say why you chose the 'R' instead? Was it the position of the footrests by any chance? Happy and safe riding!
@wivesonbikes3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks for your feedback. :) I tested the GT first and after that there was no way I would have bought it. GT felt just wrong. And it´s not that I have not ridden forward controls before and liked that on other bikes. When I got to test the R I was smitten. It looks better (red color really pops) and with the mid controls i felt like I am riding the bike and not just sitting as passenger, to me the R was the only option, but I needed the panniers as well. :) -P-

Excellent honest, and beautiful review! Very well done! I just bought a 2022 Goldline Speedmaster and love it. Key though is the dealer as all new bikes, cars, boats, etc. can still have issues. Some of the issues you brought up though are design issues, and I think you are spot on, like the fuel tank sizes. Mine is 12L (3 gallon) and although I get 60mpg, I would still like a bit more distance. This bike is a keeper for sure, and I'm looking forward to your review of it someday (and your T-120, which I almost bought had the Speedmaster not come in,) but I will buy a Rocket III (probably GT) for my next and last bike (I'm 63) as what else would one need? :)

Hey hi. Quite explicit review. This is Ajay from India. I am quite keen to go for Rocket 3R, but people here are saying not to buy Triumph and to go for Honda goldwing or BMW etc. Rocket 3R would be my very first bike as because i am riding Royal Enfield since a decade which is 350 Cc & 535 Cc respectively. Would you suggest Rocket 3R being a beginner?
@wivesonbikes3 жыл бұрын
Hi, The most scary part of the Rocket is the weight of it. The power is controllable and there are aids that help controlling the power, like using Rain or Road -driving modes. But the get most out of riding and building confidence, some other bike might be better option. But i would not take too small bike either. Like Bonneville T120 was my wives first bike, and that has been great. Rocket’s engine produces heat quite a lot. So If the climate is very hot, Rocket might be very hot.
