whats wild is when you demonstrated the programming mode, the signal actually flashed white on the video, but the colors you described actually flashed correctly onto the portafilter handle if you play it back

Very informative video although it seemed like missing some objectivity and more a sales pitch for Rocket. Every machine has some downside so it's always good to get a heads up. Otherwise, good content. I have 4 machines myself and am in the process of refurbishing my La Pavoni Europiccola that I bought in Milan 25 years ago. But I have an eye out for my next automatic or semiautomatic machine.

Great looking machine really stunning Is the lack of shot timer a major negative? Can anyone advise me to buy this machine over the new Profitec Jump which has built in shot timer and pre infusion? I currently use a sage pro machine which is really not great to be honest

Should I go for this one or La Marzocco Linea Micra? (Money is not a problem)

They are very different machines as the micra is a dual boiler with app control and rotary pump and the Tca is a HX, and a vibration pump. Opposite ends of the machine price and tech range

What bar setting would you suggest for this machine

I use 1.2 the max, but if your a beginner go with the 1 bar as it will be slower and help you improve.

Thank you for the review, but I’m surprised you didn’t pull a shot or demonstrate milk frothing. Wouldn’t those be important for a full review? I’m also surprised that this machine sells for $2,100 in the USA. For a little more, one could get a dual boiler PID Lelit Bianca with far more features and an OLED screen for the menus.

@@woosha10 I have the Lelit Bianca V3 and absolutely love it. For the price, I don't think there is a better option.

@@frmosess yours is a dual boiler and this is HEX machine, they are different . Your machine is over a $1000 more and is in a different price point. The Giotto or the cinquatto are competitors to the LeLit . The appartmento is an entry level machine .

@@woosha10 Thank you for the comment, but here in the US, Lelit was offering the Bianca for $2600 recently. The Appartamento is currently selling for $2100. For that $500 difference, I think it's worth looking at the Lelit, at least in the US when you can catch a sale.

The whole lever/morse-code/colour sequencing is so un-intuitive. I understand the desire to remove digital interfaces but a hidden rocker switch would have been far preferable imho

Like any machine these days, you can use them or not. It makes machines more flexible for a bigger market or as you grow is our espresso journey. Cheers luke
