Oui, oui, Eduardo est un Rocket Man! Really informative video. The learning modules and audio lessons form a great learning framework. Rocket helped me become more fluent in French for my fine wine import business. Les affaires sont florissantes! Appreciate your videos, keep them coming.

You say that Rocket French might not be the best program for a visual learner but I disagree. I think I am a visual learner (especially in French) but what that means to me is that I MUST see the word I am learning. In Rocket French, I get to see every word in print so it works great for me. If you mean there isn't a picture of a bridge when you learn the word in French, then that is true. Be clear about what you mean because I almost didn't buy the program because I was afraid that it would be all audio. I bought the program through your link so thank you for the many reviews of different programs. I did ask a question on this page but don't see it in the comments and got no answer.

I don't necessarily want to learn French (yet). I want to learn Spanish to be able to converse with long lost family members. And then I want to learn Japanese since my fiance and I plan on visiting in a few years! I have to say, I was on the fence between Pimsleur and Rocket, but I think I'm starting to lean more towards Rocket now!

Just a random question, will be able to be conversational in French only, or will I be able to read and write? Thanks man your channel is amazing
@Cardiologyforever Жыл бұрын
And if so, how to be able to read and write as well. Many thanks
@TestPrepInsight Жыл бұрын
Rocket does a decent job of teaching you to read and write, but it's definitely not their focus. You will learn enough to get by for sure, but they definitely focus on listening comprehension/speaking (i.e. conversational aspect). the problem though is other programs that focus on reading/writing, then lack with the conversational aspects. In my opinion, Rocket is probably the most well-rounded
@Cardiologyforever Жыл бұрын
@@TestPrepInsight Thats really helpful. If I want to develop further after finishing the rocket lets say in Spanish/ French. What are the options to develop in reading and writing? And what are the options for further development in conversations?

Double up on apps! Combine an audio program like Rocket or Pimsleur with another learning style based app, like Babbel or Memrise or Busuu. Good luck!

Sick video! The reason why I want to learn French is that I would know my extended family's native language (I have lots of family in France and Quebec). I would also get to learn the native language of Canada (the country I was born in)!

I'll be honest, the course is really well made overall but the audios are painful to listen to as they are so awkward in robotic in their conversations with each other (in English I mean, not the target langauge). They're constantly making weird jokes, I feel like these audios were designed for a child and not adults...
@TestPrepInsight Жыл бұрын
they can be a little corny at times, but definitely effective
