Trying to learn Italian since my daughter has been wanting us to go to Italy since she was 3. Now that she has graduated, she's making it her mission to visit in the next couple of years. I feel like duolingo isn't preparing me. I'm also watching pocoyo in italian 😊

How fast would it take to get to a conversational level of italian using this? I will be studying in italy for my masters in a couple months and I'd like to be able to converse with the locals lmao

Hi Red, this program can certainly help you on your way to becoming conversational. If you're able to be persistent and study for an hour a day in a comprehensive manner like what Rocket provides, you'll have a great springboard for your mind to start picking up the language intuitively once you're immersed in it day to day. Conversation focused apps are typically our favorites, and their graded voice tool with playback would be excellent for honing your accent ahead of time. If you can add on some practice with a language exchange program online, you'll be in great shape in time for school. Good luck with your studies!
