Before i listened to Peter Bence, i thought this level of performance was simple impossible to reach. Peter has proven me wrong... He is the Elvis Presley, Jacques Brel, Usain Bolt, Albert Einstein of the piano. There is no match to him. hey peter. most people I’ve seen that play this genre on piano (without the drumming and other stuff lol) have absolutely no dynamic control and their playing seems somehow forced, its a hard feeling to explain but its one that i dont get from you. every note is intentional, rhythmically and dynamically. you can really see the passion and dedication to the performance. truly seems like a no-mistakes performance as well, although i’m sure you can hear a few when listening to it lol. a teacher of mine told me a perfect musician will never tell you they played perfectly. great job

It's a gift. When the instrument becomes an extension of the player. It starts so sing the song of the soul. That is what I love about Peter.

Its just called practice, not a gift like the guy above said, the reason why the notes his covers seem so intentional, vs other artists is because of the lack of practice from the other artists. Accidentally hitting adjacent notes, as well as minor inconsistent rythms here and there etc etc, adds up and makes the difference between artists. This is also why you cant put your finger on it, a bunch of minor mistakes in different areas seem off to you, but subjectively ig sounds right
