You don't fail an MOT for OLD tyres. I've just replaced my tyres with Bridgestone Battlax S23's. The tyres I took off about 2 months ago were Michelin Macadam''s which ceased production in 2007. The rear tyre was 3305 (Aug 15ish, 2005)19 years, 1 week old, and the front was 0401 (Jan 22ish, 2001) 23 Years, 7 Months! No mention in MOT. So you're incorrect about failing an MOT for old tyres, unless they are worn or cracked etc. EDIT - Not even an advisory! And the MOT guy wasn't being lenient because he made me buy a new number plate as mine was just a little smaller than the legal size. All in all, the guy was a twonk, but still, no mention about the horrific age of the tyres.

I'm a leftie and had some experience of firing various weapons. Handguns / pistols are fine, especially those with ambidextrous safety and mag release. Rifles and LMGs, I've always fired right handed.

There's one of those on ebay right now in what appears to be a really nice condition (loads of photos), clean and well looked after, tons of paperwork and service history, MOT until 3/2025 ... it's got just over 50K miles on it ... asking price £5K or best offer. I'd 100% take that over what ever hideous abomination Del is going to turn his into ....
