I just earned my PhD and moved further away from SE Texas. I could not make the drive in a weekend at that time so there should be no recordings of any UIL Region 10 bands from me in 2017.

Unfortunately no. My current job does not allow me to be gone for long stretches of time. Also, the last time i went, I had my tripod and a lot of my recording equipment confiscated because I was not affiliated with a particular school. UIL / Alamodome is a lot stricter. Yes, people are still able to record but they have smartphones that can do that. 2015 may be the last time I go to the marching contest.

Joel Quiros man that really sucks I’m sorry about that, I’m in the Spring Hill band and we just got our results for finals. Talk about a disappointment

These kids do a fine job but I sure do miss the style of their bands back in the early 80s with more military leanings. Cool music but with some of the precision of military.
