It makes me laugh how the interviewer is trying to get them to basically saying they exercise excessively and restrict and calories to have their legs and they're just like nah we fit

It’s not a workout to get the legs. You dance for years to get the legs. Same goes for being flexible.

@Rahyne Dancer You can certainly get a lot more flexible than your starting point in a week if you begin by barely being able to touch your toes. However, if you are nowhere near the splits, the majority of adults can not gain that in a week without potentially hurting themselves. Major muscle lengthening does not happen super quickly, as it's many cycles of thousands of microtears in the muscle followed by healing. And if you try to overdo it to get flexible more quickly, you don't allow time for that healing process

@@RB747domme now they do. There have been black rockettes since 80s when they racist policy ended. However, I'm sure the orgnaization is still alittle racist bc they only have 1 ir 2 minorities.
@lay-dee
@lay-dee 3 жыл бұрын
@@user-52z1 it isn't necessarily racist to have a low number of black dancers. Numerous girls try out, girls from prior seasons are more likely to get alot of those slots, not many black girls audition. It would end up with not having many in the end. They can't let people through the cracks to be politically correct. Everyone that makes it has to earn it.
@user-52z1

@@lay-dee I’m not saying it is racist bc there is a low amount of black girls. But back then no matter the talent of the girl they only wanted white women. That is racist to not even have a shot bc of skin color.

Going up and down stairs you achieve a similar development. I have recommended this exercise for years and have seen the results over and over again. All you have to do is go up and down a flight of five or six steps for 6 to 10 minutes. Three sessions a week are enough. In just three or four sessions, the legs begin to form. In three weeks, the results are spectacular. Guaranteed (and highly recommended for any sport). It is best to alternate going up two steps at a time and one at a time.

What’s with these questions... they’re so degrading. Like, they’re asking what the Rockettes do as workouts and how many calories? they a day. I don’t know, they DANCE hard core for a living?! They don’t have time to track how much calories are in their chicken. I would never make my interviewees do push ups in front of me. Come on WSJ, you can do better than that. Show some respect for the dancers.

isabelle bise or the acceptance of of ethnic minorities, and girls who have dark skin. The application actually says, that it cannot accept girls from ethnic minorities, or or who are African American. And if you don't believe me, ask them. It's a fact.
