If you pair it with another R2D2-10 and wire them at a final impedance of 2 ohms, you are looking at 500w RMS total. So the Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime would be a nice match.

So I have a kenwood 10 ported and I’m going to pair it with a Rockford R2 sealed because Apparently my small cab truck can’t fit another ported box. Hopefully the two different boxes will have the best of both worlds together

I have a single one of these (2 ohm version, wired in series for 4 ohms), and I put it in a sealed enclosure a little bit larger than the recommended size (0.65 ft^3). I've noticed that is just doesn't thump or have any low bass...it does great with mid-bass range, but when I play a song that has low bass, it really under performs. I'm comparing this subwoofer to a pair of advent maestro floor standing speakers with 10 inch woofers...AND THEY HIT HARD AND DEEP. Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong? I know the frequency response range is 45-250hz, but in a sealed enclosure, is it possible that it just can't get that low? Thanks very much.

Enclosure is [almost] everything. Sealed will have a tight, flat response down to a point, and fall flat on its face below that point. By making a slightly larger sealed enclosure, you can lower that point by a few hz, but if low is what you need, a properly designed ported enclosure will get you there - assuming the driver can take you there as well. The specs for this driver are 45-250hz, so, assuming you want bass lower than 40hz, this driver will not take you there in a box, with a fox, sealed, stuffed, or ported.

I put it in a ported enclosure, and it definitely sounded A LOT better, but it still wasn't up to my expectations, so I returned it and got an 8 inch Dayton Audio sub which didn't need as big of an enclosure and sounds really good. Definitely learned a lot about enclosures building this sub 👍

Pioneer doesn't make a 1000w RMS amplifier, so you are probably referring to the GM-A5702. That amp does 480w RMS @ 4 ohm bridged, and may be a bit too much for just one sub. So I suggest doing two.
