My wife wanted her crown vic trunk back so I took out the MTX 7500 12's. Week later she says she needs some bass back. I put a small sealed box with a P3 10 where the spare tire used to be and was very impressed. I had a pair of the RF T3002 amps and regret selling em, haven't bothered with Rockford in years tho.

Back in '95 my friend had a 100 watt Boss amp pushing 4 12's (2 of them in a sealed box and 2 in band pass box) and we couldn't believe how good they sounded lol

@@SubwooferKing100 yeah he bought it from Bestbuy because the shop that installed his system didn't install a fuse on his power wire and the wire burned up from the battery all of the way back to his amp. And of course it burned up his amp too smh but so after getting new power wire and a fuse installed he bought the Boss for $75 and it impressed us!

It's sad how many of the "good" brands sold out to China, most of them long ago. Boss is one brand that is literally worthless, for the price of anything new you're always better off buying some old used name brand stuff. I think it's just bait for folks that wanna bang but don't wanna spend. It's pay to play around here.

@@bunky021543 A buddy of mine back in mid 00's spent nearly 3G's on a pair of Premier subs and amps with matching head unit, all brand new models. The shop used 8awg for around 2k watts. Started a fire in his mustang and the shop waived all blame. I wonder how long it would take to notice the fire if he had a trunk instead of a hatch. That was a major contributor to me learning how to install my own

@@JesusSaves86AB when my friend's power wire burned up I did the same and that shop put 8 gauge wire in his car! Since then I installed all of my systems except for 1 and that was only because I bought myself a brand new car. That particular shop did great work and I only got a single Sundown SA 12 installed but shortly after I wanted more bass (which was 8 months later lol) installed a Kenwood deck, 2 pairs of 5×7's, a pair of 6×9's, a MRV30 4 channel Alpine amp, a M240 Alpine mono amp, and 3 Fosgate P3 subs. There's nothing like having the knowledge and skill to install your own skill.

Shiiiiiiiiiitttt...if you think Boss is trash now, U should have seen it when it first came out back in the early 90s. At least that's when it popped up here where I live. I still don't like Boss, but it's come a long way. I wonder if there are any pics of the stuff from way back then. Probably not, because it was junk. 😂

Boss and similar fisher price audio brands usually dyno 1/10 rated power and rarely more than 1/4. And regardless of how cheap it is, the components are shit and don't last. A beat up used amp is a better choice compared to the bottom of the barrel brands.

@@JesusSaves86AB they've gotten sneaky now too. Planet audio/Boss (same company) has started putting multiple 15amp micro fuses in their amps and claiming it'll push what the same number of 35amp fuses would be capable of. I've never seen such a large company go to such great lengths to be deceitful
