What a nice beach for poppy jasper and carnelian agates!

Nice work, my favorite place. Only bad part is it is almost early morning time for the tides.

Thank you and thanks for watching! I got really lucky that my trip out there just happened to be right after the storm and lined up with an afternoon low tide. I don't think I'll have another chance to rockhound Damon Point with those conditions again until next year.

We came across this video of yours, liked it so we subscribe to your channel. We are Disabled ♿ ♿ ♿ Seniors with OUR 47yr old SON who is a Tetraplegic. We recently became RockHound and Lapidary. Anyways we just RockHound around our neighborhood and areas we can trek that will allow our electric wheelchairs to operate. Now just to get ready is an adventure in itself-hehehehe. So, we mainly purchase Rocks but have to watch our budget-due to Retirement income being fixed.

Are the larger white stones a quartz or chalcedony? Looks like you had a lot of fun.
@BlazeGoesRockhounding2 жыл бұрын
I think that pretty much everything I picked up in the video was chalcedony, I have never found much exceptional quartz at Damon Point. Thanks for watching, and I did have a lot of fun!

I could almost feel the cool air as I watch this on a hot June day.

Sounds like you’re wearing a mask?
@BlazeGoesRockhounding3 жыл бұрын
I don't think I'll do winter rockhounding without a mask ever again, first time I've ever gone to the beach during the winter and not gone home with chapped lips!

10:50... Now that is the biggest one I've seen come off Damon Point... What a score!🔥

That one is so crazy! The banding on it is super pronounced. You gotta get out there during or right after a big storm, it’s worth battling the rain and wind! I ended up finding a big piece of petrified wood too right after I found this one but didn’t get it on video. Thanks for watching

Awesome Carnelian! I Will have to get back out there soon!

The pieces I found on this trip are by far the best carnelian I’ve got! Thanks for watching!
