The place I usually rockhound for antigorite was flooded so I had to explore some new spots. I found some great material in one spot, but the rain came in heavy so I had to leave.
Once the rain cleared, I went back to check another spot.
I didn't notice at first, but I was surrounded by MASSIVE boulders of some good looking serpentine!!!
One was almost blue!!! AMAZING!
Lots of green down there, but getting it all out would be nearly impossible because of the steep slopes covered in poison oak.

I always enjoy the added things you put into your video besides the great rocks. Such as the rock faces 😆. And the water running, the mushrooms, the wet forest, and you navigating through it. Cool sparkly black hornblende. Great variety of finds. My favorite rock/mineral to collect is datolite. I also love anything with copper or silver in it. I especially like silicified coral and petwood. And anything that comes from a volcano! And I'm also a huge fan of zeolites and tektites! Many people get hung up on agates, but as you show in your videos, there are so many other amazing rocks with cool stories to tell! Thanks for all your hard work in making great content, bro! Cheers m8.

Sweet material out there! Good call on the tool, the first one I used regularly was a 12" tent stake, worked great for gold prospecting as well! Cool old Pabst can! Congrats on the MBA you fancy man

The pink stuff at the beginning - what do you think it is? I've been rockhounding at the coast of Germany recently and found a bunch of similar looking stuff, mostly large grained granite/monzonite or pegmatite, so in that case it's likely microcline, a lot of it being quite nicely translucent. What you're showing reminds me a lot of that, also in structure (looks similarly layered), but I'm not sure if it occurs around or in serpentine, since it's an igneous rock while serpentine is metamorphic. I always envy you Oregonians for your massive amount and good quality of serpentine. :D The best piece of nephrite I've ever found I got from the Oregon coast.

Pretty sure its hydrogrossular. A few locals and I have been trying to figure it out for years. Thanks for watching ^^
