Great small town for families. For the most part car centric unless you live directly across from a shopping strip. The heat is really tough during the summers but outside of that its very nice climate. Nice parks with water features and trails that run between communities for walks. Not too much bad to say about this area aside the traffic on the freeway during rush hours. Now that alot of people have moved out to Roseville and Rocklin, those rush hour commutes are a bottle neck on the small freeway.
