@@Origine25 yes. And they added the Demo level. It also works on Linux and MacOS . the only thing is that the cutscenes were stutterering. Maybe they fixed it.

I've always loved Desperados, and when Shadow Tactics was released, I was beyond happy. I thought then, that it would be amazing to see Mimimi develop a new Desperados. Well, it seems dreams do come true! (No Sam and Sanchez though? Does Cooper in the demo at least acknowledge their existence?)

The stealth squad based RTS genre is incredibly niche but my god it's amazing. It's a shame they aren't more popular, I know it's because of the difficulty but still 95% of the gaming community are missing out.

I think this game is meant to be a prequel to Wanted Dead or Alive, meaning John has yet to meet Sanchez. Looks like Sam isn't around either which is a shame given they had history before Wanted Dead or Alive :(

Why is everyone saying that this is Desperados 3, it's not, this is Desperados 4 actually. Third game was called Helldorado but it counts as a third game in the series and sequel to Desperados 2.

I actually really liked the "trial-and-error" aspect of reading enemy sight cones in the first Desperados. In Shadow Tactics, I found the raw divide between the "standing zone" and the "crouching zone" a bit too stiff and rigid for my taste. But I'm nitpicking, really, it was still an amazing game.

There's an extra bit of tension when it isn't binary, but I do like how clean Mimimi's cones of vision are. You always know if you're to blame for your failures, which appeals to me. Personal taste. But as you say: fun stuff regardless.

They did great with trying to clean up the game play features, by taking features from Commandos etc. Desperados 1 didn't have "sound waves" like Commandos had.

Also in the original Desperados, was almost impossible to fire a shot without alerting the other guards. And if they saw someone dead they would be more alerted.

I have to say I really like the safe zones. One minor annoyence to previous installments/Shadow tactics was that almost any civilian (if not labled friendly) would give you up. =/

as much as I like the enhancement on stealth, I am sort of disappointed that ammo is limited now. Part of the fun from desperados 1 was gathering the gang and shoot enemies from corner. This is cowboy era after all. I hope we can at least loot ammo from dead enemies

Lol that gun shot did not alert anyone, not desperado, desperado 1 was better when it comes to area noise, enemy in shadow tactics imo is less smarter than desperado's one. Desperado 1 made by makers of shadow tactics, okay! But please work on your AI and work more on outcomes based on player action. And desperado is wild west cowboy game don't morph it into shadow tactics, use the engine don't change the game, leave the desert style alone.

Please... the AI in Desperados weren't that good. You had unlimited ammo... you could just walk up a long ladder, shoot 1 time and kill "half the map".
