Wouldn't the lower speed be because of the inter-node communication using half the bandwidth; no dedicated backhaul channel? And 1 SSID that combines 2.4 and 5Ghz is how mesh operates. 🤷‍♂️

I just bought these for like 30 bucks. I’m going to see if connecting them all to Ethernet can make up for a lack of back channel but we shall see.

Why? Cat5 can do gigabit just fine.

@@wiziek cat5 can't do gigabit, its max is 100mbps. Cat5e can do gigabit.
