There is a way to avoid the capping issue you mention on the ones with a 2.5gbps port, just use a 2.5gbps distribution switch to connect each one as opposed to daisy chaining them.

This was so helpful!! I just switched over to AT&T fiber and need to purchase mesh Wifi. Can you please help me decide between the XE70 Pro vs XE75 Pro? I will be doing WIRELESS backhaul. Below are some additional details: - AT&T plan is 500mbps, but I may increase to a max of 1000mpbs depending on performance - My home is 2500sqft (3500sqft if you include back outside patio) - AT&T provided router BGW320 is in farthest corner of home. - 8-15 devices using wifi at any given time (computers, phones, tv, smart home devices) - Most critical need is for work (zoom meetings, uploading, etc.) and streaming (smart TVs) Can you provide an recommendation XE70 Pro vs XE75 Pro (or another product in same price range)? Also, can you confirm how many nodes/units you'd recommend getting? THANK YOU SO MUCH

thanks always for your amazing vids man. will wait for your review on ASUS BE88U, BQ16, and BT10 also, can you mention if a device have AFC or will soon have AFC or none at all?
@landpet3 ай бұрын
No problem! When I get my hands on them, I'll be sure to review them. I haven't read much about AFC other than they're supposed to help with the 6GHz band to enable better performance and range because of increased power levels. I would imagine anything using the 6GHz band is already using this technology but this is my assumption, can't say for sure.
@4givenoxygenbarez3 ай бұрын
@@landpet base on what i researched, not all current wifi 7 routers have activated AFC.. others would have it via firmware update but some already have it activated on launch.. and most routers i found with activated AFC out of the box are ASUS routers

Hi. very easy to understand tutorials. keep them up ;) I am facing a dilema how to improve the speed and handle multiple devices. Home layout is as it follows: Router from Provider that is connected to fiber. From Router RJ45 to M5 mesh ( 1st is living room and by far deals with most traffic) The second and 3rd M5 are upstairs in different corners. in parallel from M5 1st i use Rj45 to a 5 ports 1GB switch where the main TV + printer and other devices are connected by wire ( RJ45) The wired / RJ45 system works pretty good but the wireless is getting crowded and hammered. I have at times up to 25 - 30 devices connected to the 1st M5 mesh ( ipads, phones, kids friends phones, TV's in other rooms, entrance door device and a lot of others devices). To the question i have; How do I uppgrade the living room Wireless receiver to manage all that traffic. I can buy a single Deco device which is new and have better performance and connect the old ones to ( due to WiFi backwards compatibility). Which one of the Deco product with you recommend for my issues ? or I can buy an Archer router ( Archer AX23 V1) and let the Deco system to be extended wifi devices to it. ( Provider router is not something i can eliminate )
@landpetАй бұрын
My personal opinion is that I would stick with a Deco. Frankly speaking the more you spend, the better off you will be. But for about 30 devices, I think the XE75 or XE70 Pro should suffice. If the Deco BE63 goes on sale, I would go with that. That thing is a beast for the price.

Hey brother, could you run a test on these units to see how much traffic they can handle? I’ve used the TP-Link BE85 and BE95, and with around 70 connected devices and adding about 10-15 guests actively using their phones ( total of 80-85 or more ) , the network crashes. Interestingly, an older eero Wi-Fi 6 Pro or Netgear routers don’t have this issue. TP-Link’s engineers are aware of the problem but haven’t found a solution yet. When the network starts failing, no one can connect properly. I’d really appreciate it if you could test this out. By the way, great videos-everyone, don’t forget to smash the 👍 button!

I personally haven't had any issues with this, I have around 80 or so devices and when people come over, granted it's just a few more devices at those times but the internet is fine. If that has been your experience, definitely go with another brand.

Hi there! Thank you for your informative reviews. I was wondering which you recommend for my current household: 2500 sq ft. Two floors. 1Gbps Internet. Offices on opposite corners and floors of house. Gaming, streaming, etc on multiple devices. Torn between a single BE85 for speeds or doing a Dual BE63 wireless backhaul setup for coverage / hardline access for the downstairs office PC. Currently just using the standard ATT Wifi 6 router but streaming devices downstairs will have spotty connection/coverage (similarly priced on Amazon right now). I'm sure anything would be an upgrade from the standard ATT modem but want to be a little more "future proof" conscious with this purchase. I would appreciate any advice or recommendation you have! Sorry for the lengthy question/comment..
