Odetta, I have a good story to tell, I am not here to show-off to anyone, but to simple show that I relate to your message. I am also Jamaican and I was bless to born into Generational wealth that was passed down from my grandparents to my father and then from my father to me and my siblings. My Inheritances consisted of money and Real estate , farm land , lake land private beach front land. Now, this what I want to tell, after my father died and we Probate the will and should be ready to now to Survey the property's and divided for all of us, no one wants to spend the money to pay the taxes and survey land, I fight with them for 3 years after my father died. I knew exactly where I wanted to build my house on the beach front land. So in order to get everyone attention I went and started building my house, and guess what ? now I get their attention. I wasn't going to let them stop me or delay my plans any longer. Now we all have our own lots , I built a 7 bedrooms 8 & half bathrooms beach front villa. What am saying is exactly what you said, do not give up when things get tough or looks like there is no way out. Especially if that something is very important to you, keep pushing. One Love all 🤔

Thank you for this video! You hit the nail on the head for many of my issues, especially waiting for permission or approval to move forward with my ideas. In the past, someone who was important to me said my biz idea was not good and I wouldn't be successful. It hit me very hard, and prevented me from moving forward with the same drive. I've been seeking approval in other ways, but not getting it. But I know my idea can help so many people even if it's a different way of thinking.
