This is my favorite movie of all time! It did a lot to normalize strong, tough men like Rocky showing vulnerability, expressing his emotions, and showing love so honestly and sweetly. It's all about heart and believing in yourself. The first two movies and the final 2006 film (Rocky Balboa) are great films; the middle ones (3-5) are a lot of fun, but definitely a bit more unrealistic 80s cheese. I still love them!

Its not a boxing story, it's a love story. As for Rocky, even though he didnt win the fight, he won in his heart. He went the distance when nobody ever had. For the first time in his life he was a winner.
