I really like this style of presentation; just play it in different levels. I can slow it down if needed, and for those like me, (who don't do tabs), this is the best way. You don't have to tell me which finger where, and if it's a slide, or hammer on. I can hear/see all that, it's all in and around the chords. Thanks for this method.

As a life long Vol fan who has held season tickets for as long as I can remember, with today being our spring game, thank you Andy! What a treat my friend!

the experts make it look easy...so smooth...just amazing tone. your videos continue to be of great use to me and my woodshedding. great tune. like many others, back in the day, when i was a young young man in the 1990s, I came by this tune, via Phish. Rocky Top, and a few others, like Ginseng Sullivan, and Old Home Place, were the few bluegrass tunes that they played regularly when on tour... awright, back to woodshedding--I love friday nights!

I noticed you're playing 1, 7b, 1, to resolve, where I was always playing 6m, 5, 1. So many songs are played differently in different settings.

Very cool. How do you get that percussive effect on your Carter strums?

I think some of that is being amplified by the compressor
