Another great video, would you consider a Versatile, Claas or New Holland (a Case with different tracks I know but possibly cheaper) or are they not supported in your area?
@RockyMountainFarmerАй бұрын
Well, I would never buy a versatile and claas doesn’t have a dealer near us and nobody around here Drives new Holland tractors, but I would like to test out a case. Another one I wouldn’t mind testing as a challenger I’ve never tested one of those either.
@kathyhennigan7807Ай бұрын
I am wondering how expense a track is to replace verses tires. I would think that also would factor into making a decision to switch from a wheeled tractor. I also think that if your local Case dealer can't accommodate you for a test of the same type equipment, they can't really be serious about selling you something, which in turn leaves me questioning how good their service would be compared to your John Deere dealer who seems to always go out of the way to get your business and makes you a priority when you call. The Case brand would have to walk circles around John Deere as well as be a better price for me to evenconsider switching my business and taking that chance. The 9520 RX seems to test pretty well.
@RockyMountainFarmerАй бұрын
Yeah you definitely have to have good dealer support and I know that tracks are not cheap. We had to replace the tracks on our 9510 a few years ago.

Seems like a sweet tractor! I’d also love to demo one. We live and farm quite a few dry farm acres in swan valley. My big horse is also a 9510RT. Great tractor, but I’d like to try a four track whether it be green or red, however we seem to get better dealer support from green. I think a big 9570RX would look pretty good in front of my 56’ air drill. I love watching farmer KZbin videos, thinking about starting my own channel. Just not sure how to do the editing. How do you do yours?
@RockyMountainFarmerАй бұрын
Yeah it’s a pretty awesome tractor we just couldn’t justify the price. It was around 500,000 for this one and it was used. @devomx3027Ай бұрын
I liked our 9630T better than the 9520RX we have now. It seems like you lose more power through the drivetrain on the 4 track and might have more slip. Also, turning with a 2 track is so much easier than a 4 track.

JD sure struggles with their engines anymore. That fan code is no joke either. They really struggle with their fan control. Think there are two maybe three revisions on it now. The fix is not terribly easy either. The entire variable drive gets yeeted and new installed. Then it's a question of what else needs replacing while they are in there.

@@RockyMountainFarmer Must of had some hours on the belt. Gets too narrow to meet commanded fan rpm at max sheave. They have been through a few design changes. '22 machine?
