Lol 🤣 What we Throwin At em , Anchor, Draggin , Dynomite lol 🤣🤣🤣 , Good One Mr. Steve , Ya Know I Watch These Videos And Just Am Blown Away At The Technology And Sonar, And Gear , And Equipment And Tackle and Rigging And Weights And Dragging And Satellite Link ups And Holy Crap 🤦🏻♂️ , We Have Left The Old Night Crawler And Zebco 888 In the Dusty Trail So To Speak , It's Unreal Where This Sport Has Progressed To , I Learned How To Fish From A Old Catfisherman That Knew This Area And Knew How ,When Where To Fish At What Time to Fish There And What Bait Was Best At That Time In That Spot , He Read The Signs By The Moon, Weather , Etc,, One of his Most favorite time to have a hook in the Water was when it was Thundering Heavy ,He said when the Thunder Rolled And Shook the Ground The Vibration in the water made the Biggest Fish Move , I definitely can't despute it cause I saw some big Catfish go in the Net , It's Just Amazing To See The Change In Techniques, Tactics, Methods And Technology From Then To Now , Thankfully Most Catfishing Men And Ladies See The Importance Of Taking Care Of Our Resources , Releasing Those Big Fish Is Imperative To The Survival Of Catfishing As A Sport , Nothing Wrong with eating a couple if ya want fish but I see most people now that are Selective In The Take Homes , With Today's Equipment as a whole it wouldn't take long to Completely wipe out the population if There wasn't some good sensible self management of the Fisheries systems , Thanks For What Ya Do Mr. Steve , Always A Pleasure Watching , Keep It Reelin 🦈🎣👀

What made you decide to drift fish rather than anchor and fish. Is drifting your main type fishing in lakes? Would you fish the same in a tidal river ??
@michaelbranham58543 жыл бұрын
This may be off topic from current video, I may be mistaken but I seem to recall seeing a workstation to cut up bait that had a water hose to spray it off and keep it clean. I cannot find the video. I am trying to show a friend so he may take away some ideas. Was it one of your boats, I was thinking it was on the excel.

The real difference is also 15k in electronics on that boat that 90% of people can't afford unfortunately. I love the technology but hot dang that boat is twice the price of my house take that into account lol.

Take away your fancy electronics and let's see how good you really are, anyone can go out and watch a tv screen, that's not even fishing, take your tv screen out and I'll go head to head with you anytime anywhere

Nothing wrong with having tools in the toolbox
@larrychandler12893 жыл бұрын
@@johnnixon2862 you miss the point, they call themselves pro anglers or professional fisherman, funny I live in north Alabama and they won't let me fish their precious tournaments, I don't have a 50 thousand dollar seaark boat or 6 thousand dollar worth of electronics to show me the river bottom like watching TV, you think it's because someone with a 5 thousand dollar boat and an old depth finder that actually is a fisherman just might smoke there ass and send them home with nothing but embarrassment at weight in, maybe they should get a remote control airplane then they can call themselves pilots also
@johnnixon28623 жыл бұрын
@@larrychandler1289 one thing I noticed in the video was they knew exactly on the graph where to check based on the underwater topography. You can have all the expensive gear but if you don’t know what you’re looking for it’s not going to help. These guys can fish, and have the gear.
@larrychandler12893 жыл бұрын
@@johnnixon2862 ok I'll let you have your opinion, but like I said take away there high dollar electronics and let's see how they do, that goes for bass fishing also, sorry I don't believe your a professional when you have to use electronics to show you where the fish are but then again I'm old fashioned country boy, your welcome to go to my tictoc and watch my videos of me fishing, then come back and comment that they know how to fish
@johnnixon28623 жыл бұрын
@@larrychandler1289 I fish mostly without the electronics myself. That being said, that doesn't make me or you a "better" fisherman. No point in putting down someone for using tools that they have available to them.
