Thank you Rod Millen for these awesome machines. That guy was 10 years ahead of the competitors and public. He understood things before anybody else
@v12tommy6 жыл бұрын
I used to go to Pikes Peak every year. Rod Millen was like a god for many years. Nothing even came close to that record for many years, and even once it was broken over a decade later, with over half the mountain paved at the time, it was still only broken by 3 seconds.

Is there a PPIHC record, one for full pavement & one for the original all dirt? If not, there should be!
@kimnorberg97833 жыл бұрын
@@dc-worldpls Check wiki and you will find the percentage of the course paved was changing through many many years, so every year would get us a new record holder. But 1 for fully paved 1 for fully dirt is a good idea.

Hi Bozzy. This is definitely one of the most amazing cars on the planet and I'm glad you finally got your camera in sight of it. Most of us can't understand the amount of knowledge, engineering, fabrication, and testing that goes into such a brutal, purpose-built machine. It's also hard to believe someone with 67 years of age is taming the beast.😲 He's not your typical grandpa.😁 Thanks for putting this Celica in the spotlight, dude. See you again real soon.✌
@19Bozzy926 жыл бұрын
Hi Mick! I swear that before I saw it closely and without the body, I thought it was a bit less extreme and more like the standard car. But I found myself in front of an engineering masterpiece :OO definitely Mr. Miller isn't your typical granpa hahaha Thanks for watching, as always! ciao!

Is the speed enough for wingtip vortices condensation of that magnitude?
@ThalisUmobi6 жыл бұрын
In fact, i checked the video again, and i think you are wrong. Its definitely not fading, so is not pressure diferential condensation.

If a Celica gt4 is good at dirt should be good at track
@Deftonesdsm6 жыл бұрын
Umm the engine is surly a 3sgte bored/stroked, hence a FACTORY modified engine. The 4wd system has to be similar as well because the st185/st205 where rally cars. Meaning the drivetrain could handle A LOT
@negativeindustrial6 жыл бұрын
Deftones Dsm It’s a 503e race engine. The closest factory equivalent would be the 3S-GTE but they are still very different

*Wrong title* This hillclimb is Goodwood (Festival Of Speed) in Chichester, England (UK) not pikes peak
@19Bozzy926 жыл бұрын
The car has been specifically built for the Pikes Peak and it's called like that. So if I had recorded the Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak at Goodwood in the title I shouldn't have put "Pikes Peak"?! c'mon...
