Ugh! So bummed it was foggy, Millen seemed to just start getting the feel of it, so much so that what seemed like a full throttle rip early into the run he found a limit when coming off the throttle, awesome save! The chirping/whistling of the pop off valve reminded me of the Audis of this era of race cars, amazing to hear the Toyota GTP motor going hard again! Thank you for tossing up a raw video of this great driver of his time, bravo to Millen and all those who got this car back on the mountain!

Man bringing back memories. This and the Celica were my favorites back in the day when I had a couple All-tracs. It is amazing that the "truck" still exists, and that these guys brought it back out. So many iconic cars die horrible deaths, are disassembled for parts , or disposed of - so hats off to the Millens for allowing this awesome machine to have another day in the sun (er fog) so that new generations of enthusiasts can see it rip up the mountain it's black-smoke-rich-at-altitude-turbo-blow-off-barking glory.

What a Legend! Hats off to the man, he gave a good go of it despite the terribly foggy conditions and he did tremendously well, I like too live on the edge but not even I would try to race up Pikes Peak in that weather. I hope he savours that memory for a long time to come. I hope a well deserved drink was supplied after that run because he certainly earned it! And thanks Larry for sharing this with us all! I truly cannot thank you enough for providing people who can't get to Pikes Peak in person to at least have the option to be able to watch it from abroad :-) Many Thanks to all the people that make Pikes Peak possible!

That truck is amazing. I was at Devil's Playground for the 98 and 99 runs. The truck creates so much downforce that when they tested it with taller gears at a drag strip at just over 145mph the downforce is higher than the weight of the truck and it started slowing it down. It's an incredible machine.
