Great tutorial on this device. Mine is in the mail. Wanted to see what I have to work with… probably overkill. Thanks for all the work putting this together.

This video was awesome and informative. Thank you very much. Can I ask a question I’m having trouble getting to the different podcasts I set up . I don’t see both on the screen or the rode central app. It only shows the current one I’m using it won’t let me switch back and fourth. Could you help me out with that? Thank you again

Well provided you export your shows after getting all the settings the way you want them, you should just be able to import them. I believe this requires a micro SD card inserted in the RØDECASTER Pro II.

Thanks for this tutorial. I noticed that when you were using the voice effects, the effect impacts all 4 mics, all 4 mics have a green outline around them on the effect edit screen, but on my device only one mic is selected and the effect only impacts mic 1. I can switch between the mics, but I can't figure out how to make all 4 mics impacted by the effect. Do you know how I can fix this? Thank you!

Great job. Thanks!!.. I finally got one.. familiar with audio interfaces, can't get the Bluetooth connected phone (tried different phones) to pick up much signal from the RCP2, the audio going to the caller. Very faint, even the sound effects get out to caller, but faint. Have latest firmware, phone audio plays music great. Recording to micro storage produces great output sound from my mic and sound effects at the RPC2, but very little sound volume sent to caller using BT, almost inaudible, but there is some sound. So caller gets almost no audio out of the RPC2. Tried every imaginable routing for BT, tried different BT settings at phone, multiple phones/brands etc. My setup at RCP2 is only wall/power supply plugged in, Wifi connected and the BT connected to smartphones with no USB connection to computer. I noticed the monitor icon on the RPC2 was yellow slashed out, figured that's because I have no monitors attached. Anyone have any ideas? Faint output sent to smartphone caller via BT from RCP2 is the issue. Have support issue opened for a while, but thought someone may shed some light.. thanks!!!

the only instant thing I can think of is that sometimes your phone will go to a default volume when connected via bluetooth... turning it up from there will give you louder audio at the input. I have this all the time when casting things from my phone to other devices.

Hey :) thanks for the video! We wanted to use it in the stream with speakers, but just can't get rid of the feedback from the mics. (Rode mics) Also, you can hear our voice in the speakers, which we don't want. Do you have a suggestion for a solution? Is there a setting that we are overlooking? We had a Behringer mixer before, there were no problems. Thank you and best regards
@MiscastJoe Жыл бұрын
Yeah there are settings outside of keeping your levels low that could help but it would be to remove your voices completely from the monitor. You'd have to set up a submix for your monitor output. If you want to hear your voices, use your headphones. I'd recommend headphones over the monitors any day of the week anyways

I bought a micro disk, the one recommended by rode website, but it’s too small for procaster ii. What should I do? Should I use an adapter? I cannot find this piece of info in any video on youtube and it’s getting confusing.

Not sure what the issue would be. I used the same Micro SD in my Rodecaster Pro II and Rodecaster Duo...

How can I get help record with my RodeCaster pro ll ? I’m a beginner but write my own songs, l play guitar and sing and I record them on the RodeCaster, l feel stupid, lm old school, trying to learn how to get the best out of my songs. Is there a one on one Tudor or can you give me advice

I can't do personal tutorials, I wouldn't be able to keep up with that and couldn't do it for free. If there are portions of the process that you are having an issue with, you could connect on my discord, and maybe we can point you in the right direction

Quick question from an old, fried brain using the RodeCaster II. ...My school recently purchased the RodeCaster II to use as a mixer for our athletic webcasts. ...How do I set it up to have my producer/director talk into my ear and let me know when she has a replay ready WITHOUT her voice going over the webcast? ...Might be a mundane - and maybe stupid - question for many of you, I'm just having a difficult time trying to figure it out.
@MiscastJoe9 ай бұрын
Nothing is mundane ir stupid when it comes to GEAR!!!! This will be a routing solution. You can send a mic to it (either run an extra cable or if you have one of Rode's wireless options, you could set that up) and using the routing options, you could set it so the broadcasters can hear it and it doesn't go to the audience. I hope this helps

I'd really want to see the video on Midi connection to OBS 🙂

I know, so would I lol. I have been quite lucky lately with new gear but a lot of it has been time sensitive so this follow up has been on the back burner for a while, sadly

Great video dude. Do you know how we can tell rode to add an autotune voice effect?
@MiscastJoe Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I am sure autotune could be suggested via their support line or discord (if they have one). If someone was particularly savvy with the MIDI controls they might be able to trigger an external autotuner, but I couldn't say for certain.
@OpenYourMindPodcast Жыл бұрын
@@MiscastJoe yea I have two different auto external effect machine's. However it's so much of a hassle to have more devices connected. I am trying to do a mobile pod so I wish it was built in

@@OpenYourMindPodcast definitely worth suggesting it then. Maybe it is a use case they never thought of
