Always liked Rod. Wished he'd go back to this stuff, what he did best, instead of those damn show tunes.

Oh dear Rod how I long to see you face to face with only a 10 min conversation before I die from the cancer that’s taking me from this ole world. Please make my dream come true. I don’t have very long left.

those girls were right about his albums not getting any better
@helencampbell2064 Жыл бұрын
The girls certainly were right about his albums. I thought they were so funny following him to his waiting car at the airport. You heard the one in the polo neck saying why didn't you come back. We were waiting for yer! She was a likeable girl in her own way. They both were. So natural. Just being themselves. No airs and graces. I thought Britt was a bit nasty telling them they were a right nuisance. Not that the girls seemed to care😂. They were just devoted fans following their idol around. The girl was also right saying she's silly. We've got no chance of getting him. So what was Britt' problem! It didn't seem to bother Rob but then there does seem to be a side to him which is tolerant and placid. Greets the photographers etc with a "hullo boys". 😅

Evidently no one approved of Brit and Rod's relationship the way those 2 girls are acting upon their arrival at the airport.

My man you still Rock! Thank you for the wonderful years I've experienced as a Rock front man. I owe those years to you Rod. Mostly you. The Who play a big part of that also. As does April Wine. Used to sing along with cassette tapes in my parents kitchen to you and April Wine. Still don't understand what limo's and competition have to do with one another?

Out of all of Rod's women, Britt Ekland and his current wife, Penny are the most beautiful.
@marinafulviasoragni34142 жыл бұрын

@@marinafulviasoragni3414 I think Britt was the most georgeous of his women too. I believe she was only around 5'4" tall but was living proof that small or average height women can look good in their clothes. They always fitted Britt well and she seemed to know what suited her as did Kelly Emberg. A dress should always look as if it has been made exclusively for you. Everything should fit well. I must say I'm not keen on the way Penny Lancaster dresses.

He got a great price for it then... made a fortune once he moved on...Faces were going nowhere and Rod knew it... not a patch on Small Faces artistically or commercially... and all this from the man who turned down songs in the late sixties because they were too commercial... he learned where the money was quickly enough and never lost sight of it since.

Stewart had a great voice.. but as an artist, I've always found him to be quite boring... he rarely has much to say that's interesting... the day Ronnie Lane walked out of the Faces was when the Faces were finished. When the Faces realised Stewart was only in it for himself Lane was the first to walk out. I couldn't give a fuck about Rod Stewart after that... he sold out the greatest rock group of all time.
