It is a football documentary summer. 'Hard Knocks' premiered yesterday featuring the New York Jets. Aaron Rodgers made his Hard Knocks debut and players were seen praising him. His relationship with OC Nathaniel Hackett was also taped across the episode. Colin Cowherd explains why this year's 'Hard Knocks' is a rebrand for Rodgers. Meanwhile, Netflix shared its latest 'Untold' documentary, this time featuring Johnny Manziel. In the documentary, he admitted that he watched 'zero' film while in the NFL. Colin reacts to Manziel's shocking (or not so shocking) confession.

Looking back, this explains why the defenses became more successful against him every week.. When a defense found his button to push one week, he didn't change anything, so the next team pushed that one and added two more. By Johnny's last game, the defense was exploiting every little thing that he did. It was astonishing. Not only was he getting worse, but he was getting STEAMROLLED.

I think Colin is off base here on Rogers. The media, Colin included, just didn't like Rogers. They were negative at every turn. The other side of the Manziel thing is, yeah, fans give so much to their teams. Maybe we should stop giving so much? Maybe we should stop putting so much attention and money into...a game?
