Honestly can listen to The Herd all day. Love this sportscast. Only 28 years old but I've been following Colin since about the age of 15. Produces amazing content, it's genuine, "Authentic"(Stealing his words). Also highly motivational when it comes to encouraging people to pursue their dreams. Keep up the amazing work for at least another 25 years!

Really though he hates on tebow so much the guy is a winner and he's religious that's why Colin has problem with him I honestly have had zero amount of respect for Colin cowherd seems like he always has a smartass remark to everything and always down grades people

the comparison is that like the practical joker type comedian, and the gimmicky running qb like tebow and manzeil...once the gimmick is gone or isn't working, they don't have much skill left to sustain lasting success. Colin isn't saying either one is a jokester

If you count the playoffs Tim Tebow had 16 starts, in those starts he accounted for 32 TDs 9 Ints and 3,926 total yards. That's 2 TDs and 245.375 yards per game he accounted for rushing and passing. He had 5 NFL records, 3 NFL firsts, and an NFL 3rd. Tim Tebow was the first quarterback in NFL history to rush for a touchdown in each of his first 3 starts. 3rd in NFL history to throw for a 30+ yard TD and rush for a 40+ yard TD in the same game (first to do it in his first start too), also he was the first QB to win a playoff game in the new overtime rules, he also holds the NFL records for longest rush for a quarterback in their first start, also longest rushing touchdown for a quarterback in their first start, most yards per completion in a playoff game, fastest overtime win, and fastest overtime win in a playoff game. Over two passing TDs for every interception and he ran for more touchdowns than the amount of interceptions he had. Almost 4,000 yards, a winning record, a playoff win, 2 TDs per game, 245.375 yards per game, and he accounted for 3.5555 TDs of offense for every Int. But all the “experts” care about is a low completion rating, for an offense planned for ANOTHER quarterback. They do not talk about the wins, or the firsts, the third, I bet you didn’t even hear them talking about his 5 NFL records. Also, in 2012 the players voted him the #95 player in the NFL for a year in which he only had 11 starts. If he started his rookie year and had those stats, he would have been the first rookie QB to pass for and rush for 10 or more TDs. He also would have held the records for rookie rushing touchdowns for a QB, and tied the single season rushing TDs record for a QB for a year, before Cam Newton broke them. Pro-bowl, All-pro, and Rookie of the year would seem obvious with all those records. Oh, he also ran for over 1,000 yards in those 16 games. When trying out for the Eagles, he completed 58.333% of his passes (3 were in the hands of receivers and dropped, so it would have been over 65%) 286 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 82 rushing yards and a rushing TD. So he has improved his accuracy. During tryouts he had a total of 362 yards and 3 TDs for 1 INT. When the Jets didn’t use Tebow, their QB had 13 TD passes and 18 Ints, no rushing TDs and less than 200 yards per game. The Eagles are 29th in rushing and 26th in passing. 21 passing TDs, 17 Ints. Personally, I would prefer 32 TDs accounted for and just 9 Ints. When the Jets didn’t use Tebow, their QB had 13 TD passes and 18 Ints, no rushing TDs and less than 200 yards per game. The Eagles were in week 16, 29th in rushing and 26th in passing, Tebow was a safer passer, and we all know he would have helped the running game. 21 passing TDs, 17 Ints for the Eagles in week 16. Personally, I would prefer 32 TDs accounted for and just 9 Ints. 5 NFL records, 3 NFL firsts, and an NFL 3rd. 245 yards and 2 TDs accounted for per game. I’ll stick with Tim Tebow. Last years Rookie of the Year had 195.5 yards per game (49.5 less) 16 TDs (16 less) and 12 Ints (3 more) Think about that for a moment.

Not appropriate to liken Tebow to a practical joker. The thing that really bothers Colin is that some people are more popular (with casual fans) than their skills deserve. Hence, Colin's real complaint is with the fans. But guess what, fan love is always irrational. In my opinion, Colin needs to grow up and overcome his dislike others.

Manziel, Tebow and Dane Cook were all forced upon us by the media. I remember when Manziel was drafted and I saw all of these football analysts drooling over him like he was going to be the next Bernie Kosar. Tebow? Seems like a good guy, but he simply can't play quarterback in the NFL. Cook? Never thought he was funny. I put him in the same league with Larry The Cable Guy. You know what Larry The Cable Guy is doing now? TV commercials for Prilosec. You know where Dane Cook's movies are today? At the bargain bin next to Adam Sandler's movies for the past 10 years.

I felt so weird watching this. You wanna know what bothers me Colin? Your bland attempts at humour. Like throwing in the grade 6 sound effects? Would've been hysterical... When I was twelve. How is Johnny Manziel comparable to a "practical joker" ? He's a white kid from a rich family with 'hood' tendencies. He's the first college QB to come up w/ the social media extravaganza going on at the same time. That's what all the hype is about. I don't know what 'weak arm' you're talking about? He may be 5'11 but he has a stronger arm than everyones favourite game manager Teddy B. Don't believe me? Go watch their respective pro days. Bridgewater in a t shirt and gym shorts threw wounded ducks all over the Louisville field. Manziel in full pads & a helmet threw missiles with surgical accuracy. What are you even talking about? The whole time I'm waiting for you to explain this bizarre comparison and it never happened. At least with Skip Bayless I'm laughing and entertained. You're just boring.
