I never could accept the US G1 concept of humanoid Headmasters/Powermasters folding in half at the waist, or bending forward at the knees, or doing the splits with the knees hinging sideways. The Japanese G1 started to work around that with the HMs being little robots, which made a lot of sense. But then they also had HM Juniors & Godmasters, which repeated the unworkable gimmick of human origami inside armor suits. I remember that "Rebirth" couldn't make up its mind whether HMs were just armor suits (which would make pretty big robot heads), or space capsules that humanoids climbed inside of (which wou 1:17:10 ld make completely ginormous robot heads). --- I wanted a continuation of US G1 for the longest, but I have enbraced the Japanese continuation as THE continuation. "Rebirth" became easy for me to disavow and ignore. To make it work better, they would need to clarify the throughline running through all of the different iterations, uniting them all in one universe. Stressing from the beginning that there have already been many Primes, and that Optimus is keenly aware of his mortality and the fact that there will be many more Primes after him, would help to set the stage for new leaders and new iterations, softening the blow of losing beloved characters and prepping people for newer ones. If they did 12 or 15 G1 movies that ran the full course through Operation Combination, then they could start making films to cover the gap between OC and Beast Wars. If G1-faithful TF movies were successful enough for 12 or 15 sequels, then maybe a cartoon and toyline could cover the time gap first, and then eventually the time gap movies could catch up and improve upon them. --- I held off buying the G1 series for awhile, and was so happy to pick up the Shout Matrix Edition sliding box. --- I STILL blame Hot Rod, after all these years. Maybe I need to get ahold of the storyboards and final script for the movie as a sort of therapy!

They should've had Dion as part of the friend group so when Megatron turns evil he could kill Dion to show how serious he is. The fact that they put Jazz in the three pack just makes his inclusion in the five pack odd with how close the releases are. I get that they wanted to give fans an opaque option but they could've made the three pack versions opaque and given us Sideswipe in the five pack? Heck, put him in the three pack and include the rocket pack from the Centurion Drone in accurate colors since it's compatible with Prime too! People say it's unlikely for LEGO to do Megatron because they're against making military sets but they've made exceptions for licensed themes set in fiction, the big examples being Star Wars and Indiana Jones, so Megatron's not off the table they just need to figure out how to do him. I think the Aligned continuity did "Megatron gives up evil" the best in the Predicon Rising movie. I've been collecting the Toxitron Collection because I think they're cool in a "so bad it's good" kinda way. I have all the Autobot deluxes and will go for Cloudcover the next time I go shopping. Haven't seen the Leaders yet but the pile of Sludge is almost gone so they may be on the shelves soon. I like to use Detritus' "hologram gun" to give Mirage his shoulder launcher. Detritus keeps his missile on his back, as shown on the box, and holds the launcher backwards. I also got SS86 Blaster and Origin Wheeljack off Target's website. I'm surprised how sturdy Jacky is considering he turns into a hollow box? I like SS Blaster's colors more than the Legacy/Kingdom colors, never cared for the all black handle, but I do like how Legdom Blaster has all his buttons, nobs, and diles panted while SS Blaster only has the one painted. Answer: use Legdom Blaster for the alt mode display. Maybe they could explain some of the continuity errors in those flashbacks? Have Kickback, Shrapnel, and/or Bombshell be damaged beyond repair and have their minds transferred automatically into clones? Maybe Wheeljack had a secret clone of himself that begins developing if he dies to explain his appearance in Victory? He was absent all that time because the clone's development took forever, either because it's a faulty Wheeljack invention or because the pod was damaged by Trepticon or both, and no one new about it so they didn't mention it. I got into the franchise from the 07 movie but fell even more in love with the franchise as I discovered the older stuff, my first figure was Cybertron Downshift. I still like the Movie designs but can agree that they don't fit the names given to them. In my personal canon I have amalgamation versions for the Autobots that are mostly G1 with elements from other versions: Bumblebee is a VW Beetle, his shoulders and chest are Evergreen style but with the back of the car instead of the front which is his feet, the tire placement is from animated, and Bee movie wings that fold onto his back. My Ironhide is similar to the Animated season 4 concept but with the G1 chest, it can still slide up to cover his face, and the front of the van becomes his shoulders and look similar to his movie chest. Ratchet has an actual ambulance mode, he's a girl like they originally intended, G1 chest with movie shoulders and the box on her alt mode becomes a massive backpack where she keeps her medical supplies and unfolds into a gurney to transport injured bots, she's a big strong military medic type character with G1 Ratchet's personality. Prime is just Bee movie Prime with Bay Prime's legs so he has the trailer hitch on his back but the tires fold forward to add bulk and hide them like in the G1 cartoon incorporating into his knees and ankles with the front tires forming the soals of his feet. Mirage is still an F-1 car but uses his holograms to look like a more street legal vehicle. I've been working on a G1 Style Megatron that turns into a movie Prime style semi truck but can't quite get it. A lot of the movie Decepticons I made Junkions, specifically the Constructicons, or feral Quintesson prototypes buried deep within Cybertron. Characters like Dino and Que are their own characters in my canon, ROTB Wheeljack (who is officially a separate character from Bee Wheeljack) is called Rattletrap after the Animated version of Rattrap whom he quoted in the film. ROTB Wheeljack: *nervously* I think, we are all going to die!

@ RodimusPrimal Hotrod/Rodimus is my favorite transformer since day one, i have an extensive collection of his toys i basicly collect g1 modern toys but he is the only i have multiples versions I have 3 shelves full of only Hotrod/Rodimus, I have all the comics where he shows up even if it is a single panels also all the covers where he is. and even tho he is my favorite I have to admit that he cause Optimus death, yes Megatron pull the trigger, but Hotrod gave Megatron the opportunity and was in the way of Optimus so much so Optimus himself said "out of the way Hotrod" Optimus was a crackshot he could shot the smallest target remember when he shot the seatbelts off Spike to free him? from far a really small moving target? you could say Optimus should have shot Megatron right away but we all know Optimus personality he respects the life of all centian beings even Megatrons, he was not gonna shot him in cold blood. Just play it in your head, what if Hotrod would have listen to Kup and stop because that was "Primes fight" you think Megatron would have been able to pick the gun and aim at Optimus before getting blasted in the face? I dont think so, it doesnt matter how cunning and treacherous you are if a crackshot is already aiming and a gun at your face and you still have pick up the gun aim and then shot. and about the other autbots reassuring Hotrod it really doesnt matter, yes it was megatron but as I said he would have never had the chance, yeah Hotrod didnt shot optimus but he got him killed, even Hotrod himself knows this, he said "Optimus forgive me" he knew he messed that one up bad. I really like Rodimus and his character the fact he felt he couldnt fill Optimus shoes and on top of that he been the cause of his death, it makes for a really good story that young hothead that he was and now he had to tragicly mature and be a leader to redime himself

I don't want Chris Hemsworth to take over as Optimus prime in the future is I'm much more of a real Optimus prime Peter Cullen fan and hopefully until when the crossover GI Joe comes hopefully Megatron will come with the voice actor of Frank welker

All our heros get killed off and the Decepticons get a upgrade. Not cool. In my Transformers universe The same Quintison that brought Optimus back to life brought our heros back on line.
