I've always love laughing with Rodney Carrington but I was really sad when they gave him a network tv show. There's no way the genius of his comedy was "family friendly" and he should have been on cable where he could have been amazing. Amazon...get this man in front of a mike again...

You’re right, a guy like Rodney thrives on success. A sitcom was not a good move although I enjoyed the episodes I got to see. It was a stretch for the common man to believe a comedian has a normal life (in my opinion). So from what I can tell with years of no new releases from Rodney, he is either too fat and discouraged to keep up his momentum or he has devolved into drugs or beer. He should have stuck to an album a year. His titles were the best. I saw an RV once on the highway with a sign in the rear window “show ‘em to me” as he passed my semi, I’m sure it was his RV. We need his humor right now. His and Larry the Cable Guy.
