Rodney Dangerfield welcomes Maurice LaMarche to the stage, “Ok, let’s start the show. We’ve got a guy here from Canada. [crowd cheers] Oh Canada? Good, Canada’s here. Later on, I’ll make you feel at home. I’ll chop a tree. Anyway, right now say hello to Maurice LaMarche.”
Originally aired in 1984 as part of Rodney Dangerfield's first one-hour HBO special, “The 9th Annual Young Comedians Special”.

Maurice LaMarche is one of the greatest voice actors of all time, if you were a kid in the 90's or even know chances are you've heard at least a dozen of his voices.

I'm actually somewhat surprised at how his normal speaking voice sounded when he was younger. I wasn't expecting it to sound so different from what he sounds like these days. He has a completely different tone, even without aging and recovering from alcoholism

It's because he's fat now. When you get fat, so do your vocal cords. Fat vocal cords give you more bass.

He's truly an incredible mimic. it's almost a shame he became a voice actor, because a lot of his impressions, like, if you were just listening to them, you'd say alright, he's got the mannerisms, but he doesn't really _sound like_ them But when you watch him, he can just turn into those people. He said he was doing Columbo as a kid, and everybody was impressed, even the teachers. That means he definitely couldn't rely on the actual voice sounding anywhere close, it's all in the behavior and the eye trick.
