The song playing during the Venice Beach sequence (Per W.) is "Jam On Revenge" by Newcleus. This is, I believe, the original version of the song (the better known version is called "Jam On Revenge (The Wicki Wicki Song)".

I have this video. It doesn't really have a street skating part because street skating wasn't around at the time. That's how old this is.

@perishp Mexican song? No Mexican songs here. The tune that's playing when R. Mullen gets interrupted by the police is "Babarabatiri" (an old Tito Puente song, if I remember correctly) preformed by Willie Rosario (who was born in Puerto Rico). Mambo, not Mexican!

I agree. Skating is kinda boring now. It's not the same rebelious energy. Same can be said for surfing. I remember jumping fences to skate a pool and construction workers chasing us off the land. The characters like Natas, Lance Mountain, Christian Hasoi, and Mullen just don't exist today. Sad. Dont get me on how lame inline is.

Not the vid, but skateing. B4 you couldn't skate any parkinglot without getting harassed by the cops, ropers, jocks or preps. A different time. It is hard to explain when these clicks dont exist as strong and the mentality within society has commercialized skating so much. The energy and creativity just isn't there like it was then. Boards are smaller lighter & last longer more public places to skate just a way different time. You would have loved it. Its dull now.
