Rodney Dangerfield made it as a comic, he was so grateful he ran his own club to jump start a new generation of comics. He gave back when he made it unlike some living comedians who buy cars and steal the headliner acts away from fresh talent. True respect to the business even if he didn't get any himself.

@@reddmendoza6765 It’s funny you mention that, we had a pilot in the F/A-18 squadron I served in and his surname was “Purdy” and while they were thinking of a call sign for him, that immediately popped up into one of his brothers minds “he got a real Purdy mouth” so “mouth” became Lieutenant Purdys call sign, and he hated it, but the more you hate it the more it sticks!

Rodney Dangerfield one of the truly great comics, could keep you laughing for an hour straight, and didnt need notes or profanity, not once did I ever hear him use the F bomb in a joke, saw him in Vegas in 80s.

My favorite comic. Rodney leave 2 towns over from me on Long Island. I've done Rodney routines for private gatherings. I've been imitating him since high school and at 78yo I still talk like him. I live in Texas now and the people seem to like my act. LOL. I DO GET SOME LAUGHS SHOWING ME SOME RESPECT !
