Arsenal should have gotten a yellow 2 seconds into the game for hard body check against Rodri. Ref lost control by not giving yellow. Of course Rodri’s later injury was related to that. After ref made the mistake with Ansenal’s first goal, he lost confidence. The yellow/red was his attempt to make it up. I do think the body check against Silva should be yellow, but since he didn’t give at the beginning of the game, he used delaying free kick as the excuse. Haaland was making a point when he body check Ansenal player at the end of the game. That deserved a yellow too, but imagine the outcry if ref gave him one. That’s why I say the ref messed up at 2 seconds into the game. Football is a contact sport, but body check with full running speed should not be allowed. It’s pure physics. The energy with a body at full speed creates high likelihood of injuries.

The only real bad decision ref made was with what he did with walker that led yo the first Arsenal goal. Calling him then starting the game before he get back to his post. Would have been totally different game if he didn't screw up.
