@@gorgewashington1216 Incorrect. A snare drum will have spring tensioners on the bottom of it but it's called a snare DRUM not a snare SPRINGS. She's thumping the guitar body which in the wood itself resonates & produces the sound. The strings have nothing to do with it beyond being attached to the guitar at that point.

José Martínez He was the only one who was suitable for the job literally. Look at the audition, all the others contestants didn't fit with the band at all. It would look so weird if either of them were to be selected. I'm glad Trujilo came to that audition.

I did NOT expect them to tear into my favorite, fast part of Frayed Ends. This is addictive, inspiring, and the way the aggressive Metallica vibe is completely captured by these three instrumentalists, without much distortion, no drums, no vocals, is simply awe-inspiring. Respect.

I was actually at this show, 25 rows up, left of the sound board. This was an amazing end to and incredible show, Rodrigo y Gabriela are such showmen, they put on a great concert! Trujillo just capped it off!

I saw then do this with Trujillo in Napa, CA, a few years back... absolutely incredible. I was LEGIT headbanging to two acoustic guitars and direct bass. Rocked just as hard the real, fully amplified Metallica. I'll never forget it!

Red Rocks is better than any small theater unless you are at the very top where the wind can effect the sound. I usually get front row if I can get tickets since they are reserved for people with physical disabilities. Nothing better than seeing a great band front row at Red Rocks. Even if you're in the first 30 rows it's still an excellent venue.
