One of the most dominant defensive games I've ever seen by a linebacker. Harrison was on fire and refused to be stopped. No team in football could have stopped that man on that night.

Watch what the players said about that year. They were tired by the end of the year. They had a new coach and a new more aggressive scheme they were learning. They used the momentum from that season into 2008

Ben has always been much better than credited... I know that he played during the Manning/Breed/Brady era...which get more praise than Ben all the time. But really, this guy played in the hardest division in football for the first 5-8 years of his career...had almost ZERO line help from 2012 to 2015...and than NO defense from 2016-2018... Yet still won games at a high level and made us contenders all the time. He really deserves to be talked about as one of the greatest
@davidgraham2673
@davidgraham2673 4 жыл бұрын
What he's never given credit for is his incredible accuracy. He hits tight openings, and throws to places where only his receiver can get to the ball as well as anyone ever. And nobody, NOBODY, is tougher to bring down at the QB position than Ben.

Absolutely. The list of records that Ben holds in both the NFL, and as Steeler franchise, is LOOOONG. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Roethlisberger scroll down on that page and it has a list, and a very impressive one at that.

His numbers speak for themself. The only reason he’s not at the very top is because he doesn’t have to pass. They have had a balanced off. Look at the years his pass attempts are with the other top qb’s. His numbers are just as good or close.
@arthurthomas4204

They never give Ben any credit as one of the greats because he isn't a crybaby like brady ,brees,manning and others he'll take a hit and not complain get close to the others and it's a penalty, and if they don't get it their whinning and crying about a hit on them ,Ben has great accuracy and could escape the defense in his earlier days he's one of the greatest, I think youngest to win the superbowl but no one seems to mention that either ..

Big Ben is the only pro QB to win as many as 9 career games with a passer rating of at least 150.0. This was also one of his record (tied with P.Manning) career total of 4 perfect rating games. He is also the only QB to win more than 1 career game with 500+ pass yds & zero Ints and he did it 3 times. And I dont care what anyone says, if I had to build a team from scratch, id want Ben as my quarterback than anyone else. Brady always had a decent line and also had to rely on kickers or the defense to bail him out. Ben always came in when it was clutch and win the close games by himself. And how bout James just deckin' Ed Reed, getting darn near 4 turnovers himself, shedding Jon Ogden like he was a paperweight ,and nobody could tackle Roethlisberger who just threw it wherever he pleased, good times indeed.

Ed Reed had a shitty half of football, man!! Harrison laid him out, Hines Ward trucked him!! Ben threw a beautifulTD pass between 2-defenders, Reed didn’t even see the ball son....Yikes Steelers abused them this Game #Brutal

If I could have attended 1 steelers game, it would have been this one. It had to be one of the most enjoyable Steelers games to ever be at in the regular season.
