Ben has always been much better than credited... I know that he played during the Manning/Breed/Brady era...which get more praise than Ben all the time. But really, this guy played in the hardest division in football for the first 5-8 years of his career...had almost ZERO line help from 2012 to 2015...and than NO defense from 2016-2018... Yet still won games at a high level and made us contenders all the time. He really deserves to be talked about as one of the greatest
@davidgraham26734 жыл бұрын
What he's never given credit for is his incredible accuracy. He hits tight openings, and throws to places where only his receiver can get to the ball as well as anyone ever. And nobody, NOBODY, is tougher to bring down at the QB position than Ben.
@wraith11174 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. The list of records that Ben holds in both the NFL, and as Steeler franchise, is LOOOONG. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Roethlisberger scroll down on that page and it has a list, and a very impressive one at that.
@dougbardsley19604 жыл бұрын
His numbers speak for themself. The only reason he’s not at the very top is because he doesn’t have to pass. They have had a balanced off. Look at the years his pass attempts are with the other top qb’s. His numbers are just as good or close.
@arthurthomas42044 жыл бұрын
They never give Ben any credit as one of the greats because he isn't a crybaby like brady ,brees,manning and others he'll take a hit and not complain get close to the others and it's a penalty, and if they don't get it their whinning and crying about a hit on them ,Ben has great accuracy and could escape the defense in his earlier days he's one of the greatest, I think youngest to win the superbowl but no one seems to mention that either ..

Teammate and fellow linebacker, James Farrior, later told NFL Network that Harrison was so green early on in his career that he would simply "give up" on plays on which he was struggling and even would ask the coaches not to play him when he was struggling.[
